Pacific Beach – Summer Finally Arrived

Pacific Beach State Park was one of the first few campgrounds I found right after I took delivery of our little Airstream. At the time I spent a ton of time on Washington State Park website, hoping to score some ocean front campsites and Pacific Beach was the one that I was able to find.

Our obsession over oceanfront campsites faded after 2 seasons of camping in beautiful Washington state. 2 years since we started camping in our Airstream, we have visited some of the best ocean view campsites in the state – Bowman Bay, Fort Casey, Fort Flagler, etc. We have found many more ways to enjoy a camping trip in the evergreen state.

This year the summer arrived really late thanks to la Nina effect. I had to cancel our trip to Danny Creek a couple of weeks earlier due to poor weather (in June!). But it’s finally here, we went from 60F something straight to 92F in just 2 days, and we are back at the Pacific Beach State Park with perfect weather.
